I am an anthropologist and archaeologist. Recently I have worked primarily on and with Indigenous people of northwestern North America, from Alaska to Montana. My interests include the peopling of North America; human ecology and adaptations to past environmental change; Indigenous perspectives on the archaeological record; and interactions between Indigenous people and European colonists.
